A bit bedraggled

Despite the chilly day the tables outside the local hostelry were full, perhaps not unrelated that R got a call from the surgery at 4.30 offering him his second vaccine two weeks early, there had been a number of no shows.
The other positive thing was my first indoor swim since the beginning of December. They have decided to allow 5 swimmers per lane which feels a little crowded. I shared the fast (it wasn’t really) lane with one other lady. It felt wonderful if a little strange, my breathing and technique were all over the place and I called it a day at 20 lengths. Back tomorrow, before which I will look up a few YouTube videos.
Pollok Park was even quieter than I had anticipated, with lots of blip opportunities. I have no idea who or what this wee bird is. It hopped around for a long time and was unfazed by me moving and the faint noise from the camera. I also spotted my first mallard ducklings this year, three striding out way beyond their parents who seemed oblivious to their meanderings, I fear it does not bode well, especially if the heron is about.
