Feathering his nest

And I'm not talking about the Prime Minister.

This is the best I can do with this photo. The bird was too far away and against the light so it's a heavy crop and a bit of processing. But I liked his beakful. He was anxious to get to his chosen nesting place so I didn't hang around.

Shops open today and various other services such as outdoor eating. This is what's been responsible (I imagine) for the traffic jam Cameraman experienced on his way to collect our grandson for Monday childminding. I'd forgotten about such things.

Early blip again - busy day ahead. The weather's changed as forecast but it's still dry so I expect to be in the garden when the wee lad arrives.
