Boggle goggles.
As stressful weeks go, this has been up there with the worst of them and I'm jolly glad that I now have the weekend to clear my head (although I'll have to go in tomorrow as I forgot my specs - the metaphoric icing on the cake!). Still, I shouldn't pretend that it was all bad. The students in my exam classes are developing ideas that have great potential and I am enjoying working with them.
This evening O, me and grandma went to see Horrible Histories at The Lowry. It was brilliant! When it was time for the interval an announcement was made that boggle goggleshad been hidden all around the theatre and needed to found in time for the second half. Thus began a massive hunt as children ran hither and thither searching for them! The second half began with loads of 3D effects (hence the glasses) that had everyone screaming and diving for cover as canon balls and other nasties appeared to shoot towards us!
I'm pretty sure that HH fail to present their subject matter in a style favoured by our current education secretary, which makes me think that's all the more reason to like it then.
