Babs an da Lasses

Flat calm this morning, a gentle breeze throughout the day, flat calm tonight.  Some cloud, some sunshine and then the odd light shower. 

Up early, and headed out walkies after breakfast.  Headed up to Unst with mam, before lunch, and a walk in Yell too.  We were mostly helping sister Julie about the croft and garden.  Back home this evening, and more walkies, now feet up.  

Julie and the lasses were left the task of lambing today, so me and mam headed up for help and support.  While we were there, one ewe had a false alarm, and that was it, oh well.  All the sheep have been scanned, so they know how many are due, including Babs, she's expecting twins.  Babs is a lovely lass, and really friendly.  She always comes for a chat, and just loves seeing the lasses.  Lottie and Anna with Babs, outside Julie's, at Haroldswick, Unst.
