Baynards

Previously a station on the railway line between Horsham and Guildford. Used as a location for a BBC film of The Railway Children in 1957 (not to be confused with the 1970 film with Jenny Agutter waving her knickers in the air). The line was axed by Beeching, and the lovely station building is now a private house, with period features and rather grumpy signage.
