Promise

It has been a very sad day today. My lovely dad died this morning. He was 89, had Alzheimers and was very frail so it was bittersweet. He had little quality of life but left a lot of happy memories. I'm sad that we won't share any more happy times but glad that we have had so many. The red sky tonight seemed to promise happier times to come, just not right now.
