Mugs and Rugs

I met up with my oldest friends Ali and Wendy this afternoon and their husbands. D wasn’t keen to sit in their garden and drink tea so I went on my own and had a lovely time. It was a bit chilly so we sat with our coats on and rugs over our knees like 3 old ladies. Ali and I met at 6th form college so have been friends for over 36 years.
D and I had a lovely walk around Ashdon this morning. We’re now relaxing with a G&T. Well, I’m relaxing while watching the football with Alfie and D is cooking roast beef!
