Floral Friday

In anticipation of the building work my wife moved some of the plants so the would survive the destruction of the building work. This Iris is an example of something that got moved.

the extra is the exposed corner of the 1920s extension, where it butts up to the 2000s retaining wall. As you can see some idiot let an ivy plant grow and it was doing very well excavating it's way through the old stone walls...

The retaining wall on the left of the extra will come down to allow us entry to the extension we're refurbishing - mostly to get laundry in and out....
