Twisted Tulip

Plenty of tulips on display now ......sometimes in clumps but more often than not they stand alone, tall and straight like soldiers on parade.

A popular flower for growing in tubs and pots and many, like this one spotted on steps leading up to a front door, end up too near the railings and take on artistic curve or two.

Beautiful day and the garden is getting very dry so when I came home from church it was time to take out the hose and give the earth a good drink.
