Butterdean Wood

This afternoon I drove to Butterdean Wood in East Lothian to find some geocaches. I joked to my flatmates that I expected the wood to be empty as there is no reason for anybody to be there. It was to my surprise then that, as I arrived at the woods I saw orienteering banners and signs. I have been completely out of the loop that I had no idea this event was on. The organisers recognised me and offered me a free run. I declined the offer but gratefully accepted a map that was going spare so I it was easier for me to follow where I was going and take some shortcuts through the forest
