Latterbarrow

We spent a lovely couple of hours at Latterbarrow this morning in beautiful warm sunshine.  The ground was covered with thousands of cowslips; I suspect more than I have ever seen before in one location.  There were also a good number of bluebells but not enough to make for a spectacular show.  The early purple orchids were beginning to appear (see extra).  We saw 4 varieties of butterfly; a peacock, several orange tips, a few speckled woods and some green-veined whites as featured above.
