ANZAC Day 2021

Today is ANZAC Day (Australia New Zealand Army Corps).  At church they held an ANZAC Day Service.  They hymns were 'O God Our Help in Ages Past' and we finished the service by singing the NZ National Anthem.  The extras are:  (1)  We will remember them.  (2)  The flowers  (3)  Roll of Honour  (4)  At the Cenotaph.  The main blip is at the Wanaka Cenotaph with the flag and floral wreaths that were laid in the morning.

Lest We Forget:  They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.  At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them.  Laurence Binyon.

After lunch I had a walk into town, it was very windy.

Tomorrow my family and I are going to Queenstown to collect my daughter Scooby Doo from the airport.  We hope to do a bit of shopping while we are in the big smoke!
