The Lakes

After a 6 hour journey, we arrived in The Lakes, stopping off in Kendall for Lady Linda to leave some keys with a plumber to sort out her mums house.

We then drove the narrow, windy roads to Hawkshead where our Grade II listed cottage is. Its beautiful.

We had a little walk down to Hawkshead once we were unpacked, climbing dry stone walls and passing fields of lambs. I think we are in heaven!

I cooked dinner in the Aga and we are all now chilled in front of the TV..... well Lady Linda and I are chilled..... Mr W is stressing about the WiFi!!!! We chose a WiFi cottage so he could still work ..... but the WiFi is trying to tell him he's on holiday! Linda and I might have to bury him in the walls of the cottage!
