Friday: Tulip

For the first time that I can remember I didn’t have any meetings today - not one.  It was actually part of a cunning ruse.  I had originally booked today off as annual leave some time ago.  But due to ongoing restrictions, and a stepping up this week of measures, our plans fell through.  I had plenty to do so decided to work but didn’t tell anyone.  As a result, I got loads done.

Earlier this week enhanced measures were announced to curb leisure travel.  To be honest, something like that needed to happen.  You can now face a fine of $575 if you are caught crossing into another health authority without a valid reason (which leisure travel isn’t).

Meanwhile the flowers are coming up nicely.
