To Burnley

Walking above the Todmorden road from Walsden we passed this old milestone, so this must have been an old packhorse route. There were lovely views looking across to the disused Summit quarry, then we walked up to the wind farm and back down the hill, with a short break at a small memorial garden we came across, which we will be returning to for a picnic.
