Speckled Wood

Just lately a Saturday off  has been a rare thing for me , Today I had one so was able to have a relaxed morning for a change. A trip to the local butchers once up was followed by a nice shower and some breakfast and then  followed by a late morning trip to the Millennium lakes where we went the other week. The sun was out which made the walk even nicer. No sign of the Mandarin duck which had been around missed it again , it was there last week as my niece took a photo of it. 
Plenty of other birds around and even the odd butterfly including Orange tips and some speckled woods including this one which I managed to get a few shots of.
Back home via a trip to Asda for a change to get a few bits. A late lunch and then a relaxing afternoon . Now watching some super League rugby on TV Catalan V Warrington .  
Film night again tonight with a few beers , Looking forward to a birding catch up again tomorrow meeting my mates down Fiskerton Fen in the morning.
