A visit! For the sister has made it up to Edinburgh to call in and see us, before going on to lunch with her son in a supermarket carpark. The first time I’ve seen her since her stroke and she’s still unsteady, needing a help up and down the steps from the back door. But we natter away out the back in the sun, catching up on all the family chat. 
After we wave them off we decide to head to the Hopetoun Garden Centre as we could do with a few  new terracotta pots. And cruising round I find some Erythroniums for sale! How good is that - I’ve been after them for a couple of years. Which is just as well, looking at the price tag, as it’s given me time to save up for them.
