More car hunting

Drove down to Brisbane today to see a few property agents and look at some cars.

Brother Tom had leant us his car, and all was going well until we actually got to Cherrnside when the car just died on us! It was a little inconvenient as we waited for road side assistance to arrive. One and a half hours later, the guy arrived and the car started right up. So annoying. We had tried all we could, anyway, it wasn’t a serious problem.

On to the car showrooms, as we ran out of time to see the property agents.

The good news for today is that we found a car that Martin and I really liked, and paid a deposit for it. We pick it up on Friday, yay!!! After 15 years of no car/driving, we finally have some wheels. Can’t wait for Friday.

We then drove to our house near the Gold Coast to drop a few things off in preparation for our moving in there next week. It was good to see it again and we were so happy that we have somewhere to live for the next few weeks till we get a bigger home.

Finished off the day at one of our favourite pie shops in the world, Yatala pies. It’s just 10 minutes away from our house ... oh dear!
