Alarmed

Today our burglar alarm had it's annual inspection remotely, which it failed, so an engineer was sent out to fix the sensor in the living room.

This evening we went out for a walk, and we'd hardly been out the house five minutes when my mobile rang to say the alarm was going off. Guess what. The living room sensor triggered it. Now we have the engineer coming again tomorrow.

Until then, I've managed to figure out how to use the labyrinthine menu system to "omit" the faulty sensor so we can set the rest of the system safely.

Just another of life's little complications.
