Red Door

There are lots of private gardens in the centre of Edinburgh and this is the one in Ainslie Place, looking good on a warm, spring morning. We wandered into town then up to the castle esplanade, mostly empty of tourists (though there are still some around - how come?) but with a few folk like us just there to enjoy the views. Lots of cars and vans parked there though, the only free parking in town!
Up to the allotment later on to give everything a good watering then back home for a pretty good Friday night catch up. I made a detour to get some beers in though!
