BCSplash Showcase - A BONANZA Day!

It's time for our latest #BCSplash showcase.


We couldn't resist this stunning photograph created back in 2016 by blipper LoveMy3Dogs who had earlier that same day visited a local camera shop to purchase a teleconverter and walked out with a 600mm lens. 
We are sure many blippers know that feeling!

A great investment that gave instant results...

"After leaving the store, I messaged my cousin Maryann that we were going to drive out to Fabyan Forest Preserve to see the Great Horned Owl who is nesting in an old tree, right next to the parking lot. She drove over to meet us and we saw Mama Owl with her owlet. It's amazing how camouflaged they both are sitting in the  hole in the tree. I love the owls and couldn't get over how close a photo I could get with the new lens."

Anyone who is familiar with Rose's journal will be aware of her love of her dogs and wildlife. She has a great collection of portraits of her beautiful four legged family. Don't forget to drop in and say hello as always.
