Rock rose with bee-like insect

The wild flowers are so pretty at the moment and the air is buzzing with insects. I'm not sure if the one in the photo is an actual bee or a look-alike.
Had another good swim today, we swam all the way round the breakwater... the first time for weeks, possibly months. Much less chilly now.
I spent the afternoon in the garden. perfect gardening weather. A lot of veg has all become ready at once so I need to get cooking, or freezing, before it gets any hotter. Rain is forecast for the weekend so that gives me a couple of days to form a plan.
