One Of Our Resident Buzzards

A pair of buzzards is nesting high in our neighbour's Leylandii hedge. One of them was mewing over the lake this morning. I was delighted to see a pair of swallows dipping into the water for insects and got all set for in-flight shots but they were wrapped up in one another and flew off together.

I had to go to Ongar and kept my eyes skinned for anything St George's Day related. Nothing. Happy St George's Day!
