Dandelion

It was a nice sunny day today.  We were in the garden this afternoon and I noticed all the dandelions have burst into flower.  I know that many people don't like them, but I always appreciate the bright bursts of colour at this time of year.  I have been reading about different things that people make with foraged dandelion flowers.  Dandelion 'honey' is supposed to be very nice but we haven't tried making any yet.  The bees were definitely appreciating them too, they were all over the flowers.  I liked how you can see all the curly anthers in this picture.  It reminds about the book Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury that I have on my bedside table that I've been meaning to read for a while.
