Ben A’an

An early start to reach the Ben A’an car park before the crowds arrived. A glorious morning in the Trossachs reaching the summit around 10am. From the approach it looks a daunting climb, it isn’t, a short, and in places, steep path of sorts. My knees were fine on the descent so perhaps all that yoga which involves some sitting kneels has helped.
I had lunch and a delicious take away coffee in Aberfoyle and it was only 11.30. I drove home stopping to do The Whangie in the Kilpatrick hills with its strange rock formation and strange name which I’m told is derived form  old Scots for slice – the extra blip.
Short SD catch up on the balcony this evening with son #1 who remembered to drop off the map.
