Playful

Given the limits to visiting places at present, I decided to rejoin Knowsley Safari Park for another year. I booked to go today to force me to take some time out. I decided to take "the beast" with me (600mm lens), which was a challenge at times in the car. My particular aim was to see how well it did with the baboons through the fence. It was fun watching the young ones playing. 

I enjoyed the drive and then went on the foot safari. It was the first time I've seen one of the tigers come right up to the glass viewing area so I was only a few feet away from it, unfortunately there was too much glare on the glass to get a good shot. 

I had hoped to see the birds of prey in flight, as per their website, but the site is wrong and the displays aren't happening at present. Still, it was an enjoyable and relaxing time out.
