Tartan for a fiver

How much tartan is too much? In preparation for the 20 mile Kiltwalk challenge tomorrow, I found these tartan tights (or leggings) and skirt second hand on eBay. I asked the seller whether she can please send them first class, after winning the bid, as I am hoping to use them for a charity walk on Saturday. When the parcel arrived yesterday I was pleasantly surprised that she put a small donation in the box! An added bonus is that the items actually fit perfectly:)

Now the question remains, skirt, leggings or both? Let me know your thoughts.
