EARLY MORNING HAZE

Thank goodness it is not smoke from the fires that caused such devastating damage on the slopes of Table Mountain. So much loss...plants, animals, building's, priceless heritage. I feel so sorry for the students who once again suffered the loss of study time.
The unseasonal warm weather means that the ground is very dry and with the gale force winds the helicopters could not assist on Monday.
 The mood on Monday was one of deep despair. I found it impossible to record the events taking place hence the belated entry
