Photinia

Taken yesterday evening just as the light was disappearing from the garden with my 7Artisans lens.  I love the painterly qualities - there was some movement in the leaves from the gentle breeze.

I had a lovely day yesterday,  We started at the Wind Turbines on Royd Moor and then onto the cafe in Cannon Hall and a walk through the grounds.  Back home I did something I don’t think I’ve ever  done before, well the gravelled area was only put there last year, I sat with my feet up and just enjoyed the warmth and the light on the newly emerged silver birch leaves - like green diamonds.  I’ve borrowed an image of the turbines from the morning.   I looked after Buddy and didn’t take photos up there - it was very lovely and I enjoyed just being there and listening to the skylarks.  And I haven’t quite got the creative imagination to come up with this kind of response.  It felt like a holiday - the first one for. a long time.
