The next birthday

We have a birthday season here in our family - it lasts from April 21 now with the twins, and ends on June 11 with Manda.  Almost all of our birthdays happen in these next few weeks.  Today was Jan's birthday, Doug's mom, and we had pizza and some pecan pie, her favorite.  I made her a little painting of pink oleander, and we enjoyed some wine and beer in celebration.  She turned 89 today.
