Happy 18th birthday Erin!

They both had college today, Erin had asked Gulli to take her for a drink but he hadn’t actually booked anything, I spent quite a while yesterday trying to help him and everything was completely booked up, her college is in North London and they didn’t want to go anywhere local because they wanted it to be special so I suggested Waterloo where they can just get one train back to her place, there is a great chain called Wahaca which is a Mexican restaurant, and there’s ine at the Southbank, brightly coloured and made out of shipping crates, delicious food really good veggie and vegan menu and cocktails and affordable. I’ve got Gulliver to go there an hour early and queue up so he could hopefully get a table which he managed to do! I told him he would have to go down there and try and get a table and if not he would have to work out a plan B because when Erin arrived he would need to know what was going on! Anyway I can’t wait to hear all about it but apparently it was a fabulous evening and they both had a great time and she loved her presents as well.

I am doing a Level three access to teaching course over the next 10 weeks and tonight was our first class which was on zoom, there are only six students which is great because we will definitely get lots of support, the tutor is great, really competent and has been teaching the course for a few years, she was really reassuring, it’s a blended course so four classes are online and six at the college, it’s going to be a challenge but I’m excited about it.

Max and I had a lovely walk, the blossom is just glorious at the moment, we went to the local party shop and got some balloons for Erin, she’s coming over on Saturday.
