Happy Earth Day

My old childhood globe and my yellow button with the blue and green triangles from the first Earth Day Celebration in Boston(1970) welcomed the birds and beasties today on the patio. 

For the Record,
This day came in below freezing with strong and gusty winds. It has remained very cold all day and kept all but one of the chipmunks in their cozy underground burrows. I had a red and gray squirrel enjoying the peanuts and a few blue jays, but it was not a great day to be out in the wind. We did have a few snowflakes this morning too!
