If it's Thursday...

...it must be time for Mondays with Margie! 

We met outside for coffee and she regaled me with expectations of her next adventure: an old friend is driving up from California, and Margie and her daughter will join the friend at Cannon Beach (on the Oregon Coast) at 5:30 a.m. Sunday: because the Puffins are back!  They will need to leave about 3:30 a.m. in order to make their date on time. 

I love Margie's enthusiasm for the adventures she can have now that she's fully vaccinated. She has mastered the walker and tears around her neighborhood like a kid on a skateboard. I almost had to look at the high rise Margie was gazing at; she was "seeing" the Puffins so vividly. More about our Tufted Puffins here if you're interested.
