LD 395. View from a lay-by.

Nice day. Our furthest venture this year. We walked a section of the Rob Roy Way. Lovely and quiet, nice scenery and plenty to enjoy. We’d sandwiches midway, made the rucksack lighter. A covid safe experience. And good for wellbeing.

After returning to the car we drove a bit further; roads were quiet. We stopped in a lay-by and enjoyed this view of Loch Earn. The rest of the circular trip was lovely and we stopped for ice cream at our favourite place - the owner told my wife that it was freshly made earlier.

Watched a Hustings online this evening - a Universal Basic Income for Scotland discussion. Four parties support it, only one doesn’t.

231 new coronavirus cases in Scotland and sadly 3 more deaths; less than 100 people now in hospital - that’s good. 395 days of Lockdown restrictions now.

Family are well. Good chat. They made the most of the nice evening after work.
