Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 2 - Day 11

A familiar face, today sporting his new Spring outfit!

You may recognise this sculpture, and you may remember me telling you that the gentleman who lives here created it to cheer up his wife who had dementia. Well, sadly the wife passed away in December and up until last week the sculpture was still dressed in his Christmas outfit. So seeing the freshly painted Spring outfit today was very heart-warming. Hopefully it means that the gentleman is starting to get over his loss.

As you can see, a stunning day, not a cloud in the sky from dawn to dusk. A chilly breeze for my early morning walk to the pharmacy but by this afternoon it had warmed up to 16 degrees, and a full on day of chores, from dawn to dusk.
