Super Heros and Old Ladies

Will's turn to dress up today - not his favourite activity. I think he worries about being different from everyone else. Praise be then for Kardimomma and the fantastic cape she made him - it adds just the right element of super hero to his normal clothes to make him very happy. He had to identify his special power - he decided this was "running very fast" and had to spend a good time practising this before school.

The Lovely Marie and I went out on an Old Lady Trip. First to Hobby Craft and then the the garden centre on the other side of the carpark. We enjoyed a lovely bit of tea and cake in the garden centre and then spent a happy time inspecting all the wonderful ornaments and gifts they have to offer. I was quite taken with the garden table and chairs which had a fire pit built into the table, just need £1000.....

Daisy is talking once more, it is lovely to be back to normal - we can revert to more normal arguments once more. She raised a big pile of cash for Comic Relief and so is (quite rightly) very happy with herself.
