Norbury Hall Park: Peaceful Pigeon Posing

While the wood pigeons are peaceful visitors/neighbours, we had a horrible moment this morning when a visiting crow attacked Koi! I chased off the crow (which had grabbed Koi's back with its feet, and was trying to subdue her), and I checked her over (she seems OK but rattled), but it was a scary and shocking moment. Gawd, she's been having a rough time recently! We'd seen the crow approaching them before (they're so little that the crow is appreciably bigger than all of them, inc. Flügel), but all four stuck together and saw it off that time, so it must have swooped and caught them off guard to grab Koi...
