Miro Park
Back blip
Our thoughts were in Scotland today, where Bb's mum was back in hospital again after an oxygen crisis yesterday. She's now stable and in an acute care unit and we feel more settled than when we went to bed last night.
We were also thinking of a very good friend in Perth, Australia, who was waiting final confirmation of major surgery and in hospital.
A dull dreich day spent mainly inside doing some household stuff, Aptis testing and I made two big empanadas - one tuna mix and a spinach and feta cheese.
Our walk at night took us through this park and I couldn't help thinking that it's not very green! I still managed to get over 10,000 steps though and Bb over 15,000. When doing my Aptis speaking tests, I tend to walk back and forward with my blue tooth earphones on and every little helps. I have to watch not to get distracted though or I then need to listen again before grading - not very productive.
Dinner was the rest of the chickpea stew from two nights ago. An episode of Call the Midwife before bed - first time Bb had seen it as I always used to watch it when on my own in Cairo or when ironing here in Barcelona. He seemed to quite like it!
