Pollen

The pussy willows are in full display looking to attract pollinators. It was a good day for it as the sun shone almost continuously out of a blue sky. Only the occasional cloud and (what is still a rarity) a plane’s vapour trail were seen.

The wing had a little bite to it but we were able to sit out behind a windbreak for another afternoon tea with a former colleague of my wife’s. I left them to chat after a while and weeded a flower bed!

The change from spring to summer is slowly underway just as the change to having people back in the house is coming soon. It means I will have to tidy up a bit more. An advantage of zoom is that only the area in view is seen. Not the rest of the room!
