It was the day of The Weekly Shop. I had a wee stroll around the town centre afterwards and a visit to the Polish shop for D's Kapusta and some coffee. I met a couple of old friends and we had a chat. One of them is Chinese and said that she had been planning a visit there last year but obviously couldn't go. She hasn't seen her parents for 10 years. That really put my measly 15 months into perspective. The other friend had lost his wife recently. I came home counting my blessings.
