Cuckoo

I heard my first one of the year at 6:20am.
The light was magic all day, but especially this morning. As I type this the sun has come around the front of the house and is shining in the window, a good sign of the longer days and the sun’s progress.
With all of this I have the urge to start my early morning swim season, so it will begin tomorrow at 6:15am.
Edit: I watched the most magnificent red ball sun disappear behind the trees from my window seat. What a sky!
