Down at the Reservoir
This beautiful duck was at Dernford Reservoir south of Cambridge this afternoon. A Cape Teal, it is a dabbling duck of open wetlands in sub-Saharan Africa and non -migratory so clearly an escape from somebody's collection! The extras are of a Common Tern, two Great Crested Grebes who are clearly interested in each other but don't subscribe to speed-dating and a Yellow Wagtail.
