Early Morning Sunshine

Up early and off to the bakery.  This little collection made me smile in the sunshine.  That is a Good Start to the day.

When I got home, I made my breakfast, went up to my office switched the computer on and the day did not get better.  I was on the computer for about 10 hours, at least 7 of which were on the phone.

I am exhausted.

Not least beacuse I had to write 2 programs on the fly in the middle of a telephone conference with 8 people.  The programs worked.

I also received a Very Odd Letter today.  I don't get many letters.  This one looked quite official.  And then I read it.  I've been invited to take part in a Germany wide consultation process about the future of learning in Germany. If I would be so kind as to give them all of my contact details and commit to 6 hours of an online meeting - where they would need access to my camera and microphone, I would be rewarded with 50 Euros - almost the minimum wage if you ignore that they want me to take part on a Saturday.

My first response is FRO.  Where "RO" stands for "Right Off".  You can choose your own F-word.

Then I looked at the envelope that I should send my information back in.  The address is to a market research company.  My second response is "FRO a bit more".
