Blue Polyanthus

It was very foggy last night and was still foggy this morning; I hoped it would burn off and allow the sun to shine. No such luck, the fog cleared a little, but it has been raining all day.

Today's blip is of a blue Polyanthus, the left-hand flower is was full of water and I chose this one over all the others I took today as although the label said it was blue, it is almost purple.

Many thanks for all the stars and comments yesterday and I am pleased to report that the little bee is still alive and still sheltering in the crocus flower, which is almost fully closed so keeping her dry.
