Day 65: Conference Day 1

Last year I went to a conference with The Cafe.
It was dire!
It was in a crappy hotel in Birmingham in an area called Cheapside.
It's like chalk and cheese, compared to this one. A big conference centre, well organised, nice hotels. Lot's of free tea and coffee. Nice lunches put on, and a gala dinner.

The conference was more of a series of presentations, they were well presented but a bit on the long side.

The Gala dinner, pictured above, was a good night. A free bar, good meal, and entertainment. The picture above shows the senior management of my company performing Gangam Style.

I had my sensible hat on that night, and was in bed before 12. Unlike some of my colleagues.
