Serendipity Skates

The rain came down, the skies were grey, and I was not in the mood to get wet, I went to make a mug of tea and nearly fell flat on my face in the kitchen!!

My little darling daughter had left her figure skates on the floor I picked them up and dropped them next tot he skate bag cursing as I did so I put the kettle on and as I turned I saw that the discarded skates actually looked quite interesting.

I stood them against each other and took a few frames, I am not good at still life or portraits but I am quite pleased with this shot
