Land of Sunshine

Australia is fortunately blessed with lots of sunshine (as long as we get some rain) Lots of houses in this blip have solar cells for electricity production and heating hot water and pools. The federal government provides huge rebates for installation of them and the electricity providers buy from you. This has been so successful that there is so much electricity generated that the system has difficulty in coping with the output and the rebates have been reduced. The house in this blip all face north and get sunshine for upto 12 hrs. I am fortunate my cells face north and west and get all of the afternoon sun.
 I have 21 cells rated at 6.6kw. I have explored battery storage but still a bit expensive.
