Bedtime!

These ewes and lambs have been out every day for the last week or so, but about 6pm they are called back into their shed for a feed and cosy bed of straw. The nights are still cold, and they are just babies yet. They are so accustomed to it, that before anyone calls them, they start lining up, waiting to go in!

In the last 20 days, 225 of the 250 ewes have lambed! Sometimes I am glad I no longer have any sheep!
