Boards to Spare

The best place to keep spare boards for a board track is underneath in a controlled environment. The design of the structure allows a continuos air flow that circulates counter clockwise - very gentle and almost imperceptible. The aim is to keep the moisture content in the wood between 8 and 12 percent. When it drops to 8% I place twenty litre buckets of water every 20 metres underneath the track and remove them when it gets to about 11%.
I almost used this for todays blip. It was a spontaneous thought as I was leaving tonight. I may have to revisit the idea in the near future.
