Kite and a Church Tower - with a film crew nearby!

A lovely walk this afternoon around Great Hampden, and as we walked to the church there was this red kite in the tree.  Just gave us a look and flew off.

Walking past the church to Hampden House, there were loads of trucks - obviously a film crew.  We had seen signs for NDVR LOC, and worked out this was the connection.

Someone walked by and I asked them what they were filming "Endeavour" he said.  Makes sense of the signs!

Our area is getting quite popular for TV locations.  Before Christmas we were walking around the Lee, another village nearby, and there were location vehicles there, apparently for an episode of Midsomer Murders - "Inspector Barnaby" as it is titled for overseas viewers.  The episode was shown last week.  Buckinghamshire Council is apparently arranging tours of Midsomer Murder locations.  Don't know what it will do to house prices.
